Moving & looking for direct TV Service?
Do you have ASTRO channel at home or do you normally just watch programmes from your local direct TV providers?
Since the day I subscribed to Malaysia Astro cartoon & sports channels, I hardly watch them because my hubby & kids are the ones who conquer them. If you are staying in other countries, which direct TV service are you using?
One day if I have a chance to visit a friend in California, I'll check out their directTV service over there.
Sometimes I wonder, when one has to move from Malaysia to overseas country, how fast and how convenient can they get their directtv service without incurring much unnecessary cost?

Simple Sunday Outing to Historical Kellie's Castle , BG
There will not be any write up about this historical castle as I believe there will be ample online information from internet search engine on this tourist spot.
For more pics of this unique castle.., pls drop by my other blog on vacation here.
Maggi Sunday
The weather was cool & wet today.
Woke up at 7am as usual despite a beautiful Sunday. Went to market with my "littlest" to buy groceries to cook breakfast, lunch & dinner(to cut cost).
Nowadays eating out can really drain the wallet..easily RM60 for 3 meals for a family of 6 like mine. With RM60 or less, I could cook 3 meals (I mean nutritious & to my family's tastebuds food)
What did I cook this Sunday?
Breakfast:
Pineapple & Chicken Fried rice
Lunch:
My kids had pestered me to make them Maggi. So I made different variety of maggi to suit their individual taste for my entire family...but with lots of vege & protein added (to force them to eat the vege,i had to chop them finely when preparing the ingredients)
1) Mama-k Mi Goreng Tai look Min
(For my daughters who loves KON LOW(dry ) & non spicy style
2) Maggi Mee with Chicken Bolognaise style for my twins after their Taekwando
3) Maggi Goreng ALa Kampung with Ikan Kembong & Sawi (for my dear)
4) Green Curry Sausage-Seafood Maggi for myself.(taxed by my big eater 2nd twin)
After lunch especially after such a MASSIVE cooking, one will expect a lot of washing up to do. My twins washed the dishes, the girls wiped them, hubby iron clothes & I cleaned up the messy kitchen.
After that, we head to Batu Gajah again ..this time not for golf but to the historical Kellie's Castle. Stay tune for the updates on my next post on this simple outing.

Gold Bullion / Gold Coins
For centuries, buying gold has been recognized as one of the best ways to preserve one's wealth and purchasing power. Gold is a unique investment, one that has served mankind well for thousands of years. From the times of ancient to more modern times, man has been fascinated with the beauty and magic of gold, and with its power to change men's lives. I'm not surprise if many women out there may even prefer gold to their old conventional "diamond".
In today's world of fiat ("fiat" means by government edict) currencies, buying gold coins still answers the need for sound money, as it has for thousands of years. Bullion coins have a proven ability to protect wealth and preserve one's purchasing power, and gold coins offer divisible size and are universally acceptable in a recognizable form. This makes the purchase of gold coins and the selling of gold coin convenient through reputable coin dealers.
Those of you who do not own & have not seen a Gold Bullion before, like me, you may wanna take a look here.

Love checked in ISH for endoscopy
Past 2 days, love was at the ISH for endoscopy procedure due to his very bad gastritis.
Though he is discharged already tonight, he still has not gotten his result & need to go back for his outpatient appointment with the specialist later for the findings report.
The two nights when he was at ISH, the kids took the opportunity to bunk into his private single room for a few hours at night. They treated it like a hotel check in : taking their bath, having their dinner(I cooked & brought food for all of us for dinner there)in daddy's private room.
Here are the pics of the family bonding moment& moral support to their beloved daddy:

Help!! I gained 2 Kg after Raya & Mooncake festival goodies!
Yes..it just shown on my weighing machine that I've put on the extra FATs..
I seriously need to workout in order to enjoy the coming Deepavali goodies.
Besides I'm also worried about the pimples and cellulites which are getting more visible nowadays. How can a freckled face like mine has pimples? Cellulites on my posterior thighs,(Yucks..ugly!), extra contour over the sides of my thighs ( so improportionate!)?
Must be the oily food & all the sinful stuff that I have been indulging in past few months. Must be the STRESS? Must be the hormonal imbalance in my body!
Gosh..must really start my workout & exercise to burn all the extra FAT & detoxify my body. I must reshape & look better by this coming Chinese New Year if not Christmas! I plan to go to Clearwater Club in Batu Gajah every weekend to join the aerobics & yoga while hub goes golf & kids swim & game.
p.s Will also try to get my other half to join my "new resolution"!

Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfiltri 2009!
What I did with my family?
1)Open houses 1st day & 2nd Day at Uncle zul & uncle Bakar's place.
2) Enjoyed Yummy food: rendang, lemang, nasi impit , kuah kacang, raya cookies & goodies.
3) Dolled them up in Raya costumes...Satu Malaysia spirit mah!
4) Bought the kids a 3 ringpool (that can accomodate 6 adults) frm Tesco. They had great fun at the backyard.
Sad that there is only 1 day more to enjoy , then have to be back to work routine again. Nonetheless, the kids will still be enjoying their school holidays till end of the whole week.

A short but sweet Day trip to Cameron Highlands
As tomorrow is a Public Holiday for our state (Nuzul Quaran), hubby spontaneously decided to drive us all up to Cameron Highlands for a day trip to Jalan-jalan Cari Makan (Going around to look for food).
We took off after I prepared these breakfast (Seafod Tom Yam Fried rice & Tuna Sandwiches) & snack for my family:
So what did we do in Cameron Highlands? These pictures will tell you some of the places we visited :
1) Our first stop at Green View Garden, where we bought many boxes of Oyster mushroom Crisps (original, wasabi, curry & blackpepper flavours)
2) Eating durians (my enemy fruit) by the roadside:
3) Kids shopping for their Ben10 & Barbie sweaters at the Sunday Pasar Pagi(Morning Market):
4) hotel hopping @ Equatorial, Heritage, Marina Chalet, GreenView hotel, Century Pine Hotel, etc
5) We also tasted the raw jagung (sweet corn), oyster mushroom/ water crest Tempura and the Teh tarik in Cameron Highlands. Not to mention shopping for the sweet & big oranges, Giant Bubble racket for the kids, & other nick nacks.
The kids were pretty excited throughout the trip. though they were whining us all the way & bugged us to stay a night in Camerons. After some negotiation, they somehow gave in to us . We reached home about 6.30pm.
We had simple Maggi Goreng with Fried Fish & steam Vege for dinner.
