Can You Hear Us “Di”?
Di , I know you're happy,
And finally free of pain,
Naught but happy-tears in KLS world,... See More
They come down as cool, clear rain.
I'm sure you've been rewarded,
For the good things that you've done,
And getting that...long-needed rest,
Or finally having peace & fun.
But forgive me on this Chinese New Year,
If I wish that you were here,
Tho I want you to be happy,
This day's not the same, I fear.
Everyday, I wish that I,
Could have you by my side,
The feeling that we miss you,
Cannot be denied.
'Cause Di, we wasted many hours,
When you walked this earth,
I realize...now that you're gone,
Just what that time was worth.
I wish you peace & serenity.
Wherever you may be,
In the arms of Amitabha Buddha,
Look upon us from up above,
Shower us with your neverending love and blessings !
We pray that you forever rest in peace!

In loving memory of my beloved daddy- 27Feb 2009
I Miss U Daddy…Today is Ur 1st Anniversary since u left us!
I'm not blaming you Lord Buddha,
Nor asking why you took Daddy from me,
You were so good to him as your disciple,
Now from this world my daddy dearest is free....
Free from all troubles and trials,
From all sorrow, sickness and pain,
Free from the world's tribulations,
Earth's sorrows are now Nirvana’s gain
I'm not blaming you at all Amitabha Buddha,
For we came not into this world to stay
That man born of woman
Is full of trouble but for a few days
You were merciful and kind, Thou his keeper
We should not ask you for any more
To let him stay with us any longer
He was tired and weary before his last moments with us all
Oh no I don't blame you Amitabha Buddha
I knew that some day we would have to part
but I loved him so very much Dear Buddha
He possessed such a large space in my heart
But that Friday evening of 27Feb 2009 when you took him
To that Celestial City so fair
Death is never a welcomed stranger
And loved ones are not usually prepared
I'm so glad mom, my siblings & myself were there at the parting
We saw when doctor had to pull the ventilator off for dad to step on board
His eyes were opened at last , for a while & with his tight hand grasp ,
we continued chanting
With his last teardrops, dad finally bid us the last goodbye & followed the Light Amitabha Buddha!

Relaxation at CWS 4th Day of CNY
CNY Part 3
Since UK aunt is a nature lover & loves retreat, we took her to Clearwater Sanctuary in Batu Gajah on the 5th Day of CNY. This is the place near the spot where the film "The King & I " played by Chow Yuen Fatt & Jodie Foster was shot.
There were many activities one can do in CWS such as swimming, fishing, boating, kayak-ing, bird watching, bicyling, games like tennis, badminton, squash; achery, & golfing.
Aunt Chris really enjoyed the serene views & all the natural landscapes there which she could hardly find in the place she stays in UK.
Here are some of the pics taken.
After this outing, we rushed back home for the reunion dinner sponsored by Aunt Chris at a famous local restaurant. we booked 5 tables for about 50 family members.
How was your CNY outings & family reunion? Bet you have a splendid time, too!

CNY Reunion Dinner with more than 10 families
CNY Part 2
My Uk aunt gave us a great feast at a local famous Chinese Restaurant with 8 course dinner on the 4th Day of Chinese New Year.
Most of her siblings attended the dinner together with their children & family who could make it. All together the rough count was about 50 pax.
The get-together really brought us closer & everyone enjoyed each others' companion.
Again the kids were the most boisterous ones wit their roaring laughters to cheer up the occassion.
Thank you Aunt Chris for the treat & thanks to my beloved mom for the organising & making all the arrangements!

Truly a fantabulous Family Reunion for this Roaring CNY so far
CNY Part1:
1st Day of CNY to 3rd Day:
We were all at Pangkor Island for a great family reunion & escapade.
My aunt frm UK came bck for a 2week break to join us in these auspicious occasion. Initially 37 family members were suppose to be present but 2 backed out due to their dog gave birth to puppies. LOL!!
So left with 35 persons. We stayed in Seaview Hotel. Booked 7-8 rooms all together.
All meals included. We also went for Island tour in 2 boats & had fun snorkling, too.
This time I didn't miss the chance of taking part in all the adventurous activities since my youngest is already 5 years old. My twins had good fun with their favourite uncle (my cousin) riding on the Banana Boat & also went Kayak-ing with their dad & uncle while I stayed at the hotel swimming pool & the beach to swim with my girls.
During the vacation, my UK aunt dislocated her shoulder at the beach. She was sent by ambulance boat to the Manjung Hospital to get it fixed. Luckily, we had a kind soul ( a good old friend) to help us out during the predicament and my aunt could enjoy the rest of her holidays in Pangkor.
Though the weather was super HHHHHOTTTT, we all had a really great time catching up. The kids had the most fun, I'm sure. When kids are happy, parents naturally would enjoy their vacation, too. Dont u think so? So how was your Chinese New Year?

Valentine's Special : Especially For U (kylie minogue & jason donovan)
I remember this was a great hit in the '80 especially during Valentine's celebration. Most guys dedicated this song on air to their loved ones. I'm glad that I received this song dedication, too, from "someone" who is still a "friend" to me till today.
He is happily married now & had 2 lovely kids. Wish him the best of everthing & may our friendship last forever.
Those were the days!!!
Valentine's Special: Shoulder to Cry On (Tommy Page)
It's nice to have friends whom you can rely on & be there to lend a shoulder to cry on whenevr you are down, isnt it?
Through the years, I'm greatful to have a few of such friends who are always there for me whom I can rely on though we may not be in touch regularly. Their encouragement, love & care form the pillar that I need for support when things seem to be falling apart for me. May God bless these special friends of mine.
May you find happiness in everything you do. God Bless!

Valentine's Special: Faith (George Michael)
Indeed , one needs FAITH in everything they do...especially when falling in love, building a solid relationship & sailing in a marriage for a lifetime!
Valentine's Special: Can't Fight This Feeling Anymore(Reo Speedwagon)
The song which conquered my heart for my 1st love (Will never ever forget that moment!):
Valentine's Special: Can't Help Falling In Love (Elvis Presley)
The song which my Hub & me sang on our wedding reception:
Happy Valentine's Day to you!
Happy Valentine's Day to you!
Valentine's Special: Because You Love me (Celion Dion)
First of all, sorry for the long absence frm the blog. I guess I was blog constipated again. Now pushing myself back with some momentum to blog again.
Since Valentine's Day is just about a week from now, I wish to playback some nice sentimental songs which are meaningful & would bring back sweet memories of different stages of my life:

Joke: Barber in NY
Barber in NY
There was once a very good barber in NEW YORK , who gave Free Haircuts to everybody who came into his shop to have their haircuts.
One day a florist went to him for a haircut.
After the cut, he wanted to pay the barber, but the barber replied:
'It's alright, I cannot accept money from you. I am doing community service.'
The Florist was happy and left the shop.
The next morning when the barber went to open his shop,
there was a thank you card and a dozen roses waiting at his door .
A policeman went for a haircut and he also wanted to pay the barber after the cut.
But the barber replied: 'I cannot accept money from you. I am doing community service.'
The cop was happy and left the shop.
The next morning when the barber went to open his shop,
there was a thank you card and a dozen donuts waiting at his door.
A Malaysian software engineer went for a haircut and he also wanted to pay the barber after the cut.
But the barber replied: 'I cannot accept money from you. I am doing community service.'
The Malaysian software engineer was very happy and left.
The next morning when the barber went to open his shop, guess what he found there.............
Can you guess?
Come on, think like a Malaysian.....
have you got the answer ........... ?????
