Cognitive Effects of STROKE (Stroke part 5)

A person who has had a stroke may suddenly have trouble speaking, or be unable to recall names or faces. While normal, this is quite frightening, and requires treatment.

Take a look at this video for some facts about the cognitive effects which occurs following a stroke such as dementia(loss of memory), comprehension & language problems.

These group of strokees would benefit from therapy to help them cope and improve their communication skills, memory and speech.
