Digital Scrapbooking at WiddlyTinks.com
Photo Tinks by WiddlyTinks.com

Jasmine is 4 on 11 August 09.

We had an early family celebration with a simple carrot cake at home.

Then mommy bought Jasmine her favourite Thomas train cake to be celebrated with her beloved friends in her Foundation class at Merryland.

Princess Jasmine was indeed the happiest girl in Merryland that day(6Aug 09).

Here's wishing our sweet Princess Jasmine ..Sweet & Happy Birthday..May you stay healthy, happy & wise always!

Fun art: making balloon figurines

Our mommy knows how to make figurines from balloon. She self learned this hobby & craft from instruction paper she got when purchasing the mini balloon pump. Then she gradually improves on it by drawing eyes, nose , whiskers on the animal balloon figures. She even got herself a book to further learn other sophisticated figures like octopus, elephant, Lion KiNG , etc.

The simple ones she knws are little mouse, dog, poodle, rabbit, swan, hat, giraffe, sword etc. Tour this smileybox and you will see :

Easy craft to learn , cheap materials needed and most of all kids love it..really fun. Last time mom used to buy these balloon models for us from RM1 to RM5. Now not anymore, mommy can make for us especially on our birthday parties. She is planning to make these balloons to sell and raise fun for a fun-raising event coming soon.

Twin's & Multiple birthday celebrations

Do you find it easy to have twin birthday celebrations together at the same time compared to mothers with singletons?

How many cakes do you have for them. One to share or one each?

Physiomom was lucky the 1st time her twins had their birthday party, both cakes were sponsored! Later as a fair mommy , she always buy 2 cakes ..one for each twin until they were 7 years old.

After 7 years old till now ..only one cake for sharing.

What about you? Share with us your twin birthday celebration. What about you mothers who have tripplets and more? Would be interesting to hear from you, too!

Also check out this website on twins & multiples..as it's a new blog we need contributions from you. TQ

Jasmine celebrated her 3rd birthday TWICE!

Indeed!
Jasmine had the first 3rd birthday at KFC near our house. The celebration was among all family members namely her Ah Kong, Ah Ma, grand Godma, grand auntie, my sisters and brother & his girlfriend Jess, and of course all the cousins.

Here's how happy she is with her Barney birthday cake self made to order by her.

Then we had the 2nd celebration for her at the nursery she is attnding since the maid crisis. It's called the Merryland. She was so excited with her 15 other classmates singing birthday song in 3 different languages for her. take a look:

Then she gave away party packs to her friends.

Happy Birthday darling princess Jasmine. May God bless you to be a healthy, pretty and witty gal!
Love mommy, daddy, daniel & dennis koko dan Juliana Cheh cheh!

And this is the slide show for remembrance of everyone who made her birthday celebration a meaningful one on 11 Aug 2008.

Little Jasmine's birthday coming soon 11 August

Happy Birthday to you Happy Birthday to You. Happy Birthday to Jasmine,
we all here love you!

We just planning to have a little family gathering and makan with grandparents, my sisters and brother, and God auntie & 4th auntie at the KFC.

Dont intend to make a big do as she has a great one at Marybrown last year, bearing in mind mommy got to "jimat" a bit(less spendthrift) at this moment in time. However, we will still have the traditional birthday cake order for her. Jasmine chose a Barney cake for herself and insisted that Barney should be holding a bunch of balloons.

Will put the photos on the blog later.Meanwhile Jasmine is preparing her party packs:

Juliana's birthday party at home

Ju was so excited with her party. One week ago she already sent out her own made birthday invitation card to her friends. Then she made a request for a BARBIE doll cake. So her soft hearted mummy took her to her childhood bakery and ordered a 2kg Barbie doll cake with special specification ..pink and red colour roses on Barbie's gown.

This is the photo showing Ju's Barbie doll decoration in progress by the Bakery Ko Ko.

Ju insisted that she wants Barbie holding a bunch of colourful balloons.

We invited about 20 adults and 30 children to Juliana's 4th Birthday tea party at 4pm.
Door gifts: Those lovely Flower lollies (idea courtesy of Lian)

The menu included:
The famous Sharon's laksa, spaghetti, fishball, butter tarts,
fried meehoon, curry chicken, yam cae(wu tau kou), Hong Tau sa(red bean soup), Tutti fruti and "jambu soda/ red guava punch".

Games:
1) Break the Pinata
Believe it or not? None of thekids could break it even with daddy's golf club. That's because the twins koko put too many layers of newspaper. So mummy had to play cheat and cut the pinata a bit to make it break easier.
After the Pinata was broken, the kids were thrilled and showered with golden coins(chocolates),andies, marshmellows and confetti.

2)Superman/Batman/spiderman

3) Do Re Mi Chair.

4) Personalised Your Flower Lolly

Ju were showered with so many gifts from generous uncles and aunties and their kids. Can u imagine..she received 5 sets of Barbie doll sets including one with Barbie and her big car and big house. Thanks to all the lovely invitees for their presence and presents in making this party a joyful and meaningful one for our Princess Juliana.

Happy Birthday and God Bless U to be a fine jewel of our hearts, girl!

(At last the party is over.....i'm so exhausted entertaining my guests. Ju slept from 6 pm to 9 pm that evening)

Modified Flower Lollies As DoorGifts

Thanks to Lian's idea as mentioned in my previous post for sharing the flower lolly idea. For reasons of enviromental friendly and to cut cost, I've modified Lian and QQ's Mom's ideas by recycling Chinese New Year cards for the petals and Ang Pow packet for smaller layer.
Here they are:

One of the activities for Ju's party is Decorating Flower lollies : to let the kids have a hand in personalising their flower lollies by adding their own designs on the petal and decorate them with glitter glue and Tattoo pens. That would keep them occupied and save headaches of trying to control them (I've got about 30 adults and 30 kids on Ju's party list on 8 june '08) besides developing the kids' right brain.

So what do you think of my modified flower lollies? Lian (sifu) what's your verdict?

A simple birthday treat for our twins.

As promised, i bought them an ice-cream cake maize flavour. Then i lighted up the "singing candle" which rhymes the bday song when turned on. Then the bos cut the cake and opened their bday gifts which mommy brought from Pasar Malam. It's their favourite BEN 10 cannon bolt and microscope and the OMITRIX.

School holiday is just a day away..what are your family planning to do? As I mentioned earlier, the kids will stay home and mommy & daddy will be flying to Bali and will be staying here. We promise the twins a year end trip to Australia if they study hard and do well in the final exams.Or else only the little sisters will be going.
